Join the ‘Mouse Genetics and Genomic Medicine’ Conference free of charge
The ‘Mouse Genetics and Genomic Medicine’ is a virtual conference organised by the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium – IMPC (https://www.mousephenotype.org) to celebrate the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the IMPC.
The conference is hosted virtually on 23-24 September 2021
Registration is free for all participants. For more informatio visit the conference website.
2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the IMPC. Over the last 10 years the Consortium has produced resources, data, and new knowledge that have had a profound impact on biomedical science and its capacity to identify dark gene function, essential genes, sexual dimorphism, genotype comorbidities (pleiotropy), and mechanisms of disease. The IMPC’s programme has had a transformative impact across biomedical discovery research, medical genetics and assisting rare disease diagnosis, enabling preclinical studies, and freely providing data and biological resources that are being used in drug target discovery along with the development of therapeutics and clinical trials that will bring target treatments to market.
A key aim of the meeting is to bring together experts in the fields of mouse genetics and genomic medicine to discuss the future challenges and unmet needs in the interface of these two scientific domains and the ways that future work and collaborative efforts can address these. Importantly, we will also reflect on the future strategic goals of IMPC and how they will support and address the challenges of genomic and precision medicine.
We look forward to offering you the opportunity to learn from experts in the field of mouse genetics, grow your professional network and contribute to the discussion of the future of genomic medicine, all in the comfort of your home.
We look forward to welcoming you to the virtual IMPC International Conference 2021!
