Immunology

The Immunology unit is taking part in the revealing of the etiopathogenic mechanisms of the immunological diseases using the transgenic mouse model. Generally, immunological disorders comprise the immune deficiencies, allergies, inflammatory diseases and cancerogenesis as well. More info

The immune system functions are reflected in changes of the immune cell subpopulations and their products as cytokines, chemokines and other similar substances. The pathological changes can be registered in the afflicted organs, in responsible immune organs as well as in blood. We are able to evaluate the immune system functions by use of various immunological methods.

Standard services Comprehensive Immunophenotyping Panel (FACS)

We routinely perform standard phenotypic immunological characterisation of particular immune cell populations in terms of their cellularity and phenotype using multicolour flow cytometry. Currently we offer following standardized panels:

Custom services Experimental Anti-Tumour Immunotherapy

We are open for collaborations in the field of tumour immunology and experimental anti-tumour therapy using murine models in general. We can test the efficacy of anti-tumour immuno- and chemotherapy and their combinations in various settings, using syngeneic murine models, K.O. mice, as well as tumour xenografts in immunodeficient mice. We can monitor immune responses during cancer development and therapy by a complex analysis, that involves analysis of immune cells both in the immune organs (spleen, lymph nodes) and the tumour microenvironment, cytokine levels monitoring and functional studies (cytotoxic tests, proliferation tests, immune suppression analyses) ex vivo. Notably, we have established experimental models of the minimal residual tumour disease after surgery or chemotherapy.

CUSTOM SERVICES Automated Cellular Proteomics (Isolight platform)

Isoplexis technology coupled with the Isolight system provides multiomic chip-based measurement of functional assays at a single cell level. The Isolight 8 chip system can measure over 30 pre-selected molecules, allowing for complex characterization of individual cells. Through this, Isoplexis provides an accurate representation of the dynamic in vivo biology of human, murine and NHP cell samples.

Our services provide a range of specialized assays that can be tailored to the needs of your biological samples. Our Immunology specialists and technicians can develop and optimize protocols for preparation and enrichment of your cells of interest. Automated analysis of Isolight data is completed using IsoSpeak software, allowing for unbiased, same-day graphical results.

Isolight system has been launched at CCP in collaboration with our partner Accela.

Assays available in CCP:

IsoCode Single-Cell Secretome

Determines the functional phenotype of up to 1500 single cells and simultaneously detects how immune cells proteomically perform against a heterogeneous system. Reveals functional biological drivers of persistence, potency and durability in a cell sample. Aids in building a clear image of the functional immune landscape.

Available panels: Adaptive immune/innate immune and inflammation panel (Human, murine and NHP)

IsoCode Single-Cell Intracellular Proteome

Ability to detect and quantify over 15 intracellular analytes from each single cell, determine critical protein-protein interactions and thus determine the complex intracellular network in cell subsets of interest.

Available panel: Human Tumor Signaling

CodePlex

Allows for the generation of bulk multiplexed proteomics data and requires only 11ul per sample. IsoLight 8 chip can measure up to 64 biological conditions in one run and can determine over 30 cytokines of interest.
